Diversity Day at CUSSW was the worst. I'll elaborate later.
I have met nice people, most of whom are queer, and things are okay so far.
The best part? My field is with LGBT seniors. Omfgamazing yay. I'm so excited.
I'll do a more detailed update later, but I just wanted to let you all know what's going on... Not like anyone really reads this anyway.

Because of recent events (AND PLEASE BELIEVE ME WHEN I SAY THAT THIS REALLY ISN'T DIRECTED AT ANYONE IN PARTICULAR, IT'S JUST A STRING OF THINGS THAT HAVE BEEN GOING ON LATELY) I feel the need to reiterate that this is MY journal. This is MY space, and I don't expect you to agree with me. Debates are fine, but disrespect is something else.
If I say something you don't agree with, feel free to question it, but please do so respectfullly. Don't call me names because of the way I think and the opinions that I have. My opinions are exactly that: MY OPINIONS. I never said you had to agree or support things I say. Often times, I know that I can be a bit blunt and it might come off as being offensive. I am opinionated, and I don't really agree with mainsream anything, for the most part.
I respect your opinions, although I greatly disagree with a lot of you. All I ask is that you do the same.
